This movement consists of an eclectic approach to spiritual awareness and development that combines a number of religious and cultural aspects. More and more people are becoming more psychic aware and our new age shop developed from this need to assist, especially those who wanted to develop their spiritual side but did not know where to begin! Our new
age shop noticed an increasing demand for
witchcraft altar and ritual
items and began stocking these products about 3 years ago. The practice of
Witchcraft dates from 35,000 BC
and has had a presence ever since, even during the witch trials when it had to
be practiced in secret. The principles of
Witchcraft are to celebrate the
gift of nature, to celebrate the yearly cycle and the cycles of the moon. One of
the practices of witchcraft is
spell-casting which is the use of magick to encourage positive changes and
influences.
Our new age shop stocks a number of tarot cards. Tarot cards act as a divinational tool to help us to identify past, present and future events, changes, influences and outcomes in our own lives and other people’s. Tarot cards represent these with pictorial energies that provide us with senses, feelings and energies that help us to interpret the cards. A usual deck of tarot cards consists of 78 cards and these cards are split into two categories; The MAJOR ARCANA and the MINOR ARCANA. The Major Arcana consist of 22 tarot cards whilst the Minor Arcana contain the rest of the deck and are split into four suits; wands, cups, swords and pentacles. The two popular questions I am always asked when someone is interested in a ouija board is 1: Do they work? 2. Are they safe? Both questions involve the same answer, it depends on the group of people using them. 1. Ouija boards will work if you have a good energy around the board (usually 3 - 4 people) and it helps to meditate a little before you use the ouija board to help raise your energy vibrations and connect with spirit. It may take a while for you to get any response from the ouija board, even months, and even when you do, the answers you get may not make any sense. However, if you approach the board as a serious form of mediumship, and you persevere, it should work for you. 2. There are so many arguments whether these boards are good or evil, so I am only going to give you my PERSONAL OPINION. I think that ouija boards are like any tool; it is the person who uses it who influences its use. I always say that if you ask a silly question, you will get a silly answer. So respect the board and the spirits who come through and NEVER EVER USE THE BOARD AFTER DRINKING. How would you like it if you were called upon from the Spirit Realms to communicate with the living, to be teased and taunted, or asked stupid things... You would want to say horrible things back no?!?! |
